27th Annual Summer Tele-Ski Camp
Mt. Hood / Timberline Lodge Oregon
June 11-13, 2010
Friday June 11, Timberline - Paradise Park
(Intermediate & Advanced Skiers Only)
8:30 AM - Meet at the Climber's Register at the Wy'East Day Lodge. We'll ride to the top of Palmer then traverse to 9,700 feet level to Illumination Saddle, ski Zigzag Glacier to Paradise Park (6,000'). A 6 mile (downhill) hike returns us to the shuttle and back to Timberline (estimated return time 5:30 PM).
Bring lunch, water, climbing skins, pack big enough to carry ski and backpacking essentials. Hike is optional - may just ski back to Timberline.
Saturday June 12, Timberline
7:00 AM - Meet at the Climber's Register at the Wy'East Day lodge ready to ski. Pickup registration and lodging info.
7:15 AM - Leave for snow. Classes taught on Magic Mile and Palmer chair lifts. Video filming throughout the morning.
Ski until 1:30 PM then head back to Timberline Lodge for some mountain relaxation.
4:00 PM - Meet in Mazama Lodge to review morning video runs.
Sunday June 13, Timberline
7:30 AM - Meet promptly at the Climber's Register.
On snow instruction til' 12:30 PM.
Snacks and beverages to be provided on the hill.
Free ski 12:30 to 1:30 PM.
At 3:00 PM Meet in Mazama Lodge to review morning videos.
